CCT is a collaboration of experienced instructors from various clinical backgrounds who are passionate about emergency medicine. We offer a wide range of emergency courses ranging from basic first aid for family and friends to more advanced courses like Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Please note that all courses, except for heartcode format courses, are accompanied by a complete illustrated guide that is for the student to use as reference after the course is completed and is inclusive of the price.
Course Description: ACLS involves simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation during learning stations where candidates have the opportunity to practice essential skills individually, in a team, and as team leader. Simulations reinforce the key concepts of: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.

Course Description: Becoming an American Heart Association instructor starts with consulting with an American Heart Association Training Center to find out whether the Training Center (TC) is accepting new instructors and the TCC's (Training Center Coordinator) preferred course delivery. Once you become an Instructor, you will have access to the most current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources, and tools through the online AHA Instructor Network. You will also be able to post class dates and times to reach more students through our public website.

Course Description: The Adult CPR course for Family & friends has been developed by the AHA to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest by accessing help & providing early CPR, early defibrillation, & early advanced life support links in the chain of survival in every community. This course should help reduce the time to defibrillation for adult victims of cardiac arrest & increase survival from cardiac arrest. Early notification of the EMS system has shown to improve survival from heart attack & stroke.

Course Description: The paediatric CPR course for Family & friends has been developed by the American Heart Association to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest by accessing help, providing early CPR & teaching prevention of conditions that may lead to cardiac arrest in children. By strengthening the early prevention, early access, early CPR, & early advanced life support links in the paedriatic chain of survival in every community, this course should help increase awareness of preventative measures thus reducing unnecessary deaths in children & increase survival from respiratory & cardiac arrest. Early notification of the emergency medical services system has shown to improve survival from respiratory & cardiac arrest. Statistics show that 80% of injuries to children occur in or around the home & many of these are preventable.

Course Description: The Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid with CPR and AED Course is intended primarily for those who are expected to provide CPR and first aid for children. The Course is particularly ideal for child care workers, teachers, parents, grandparents, babysitters and volunteers who work with children. A 146-page Heartsaver Paediatric First Aid with CPR and AED Student Workbook and CD-ROM is provided to each participant for review before, during and after the Course. A memory aid card is included with the Workbook, displaying the simple steps for adult, child and infant CPR and AED use. A Paediatric First Aid Quick Reference Guide is also included with the Workbook, covering choking, bad allergic reactions, diabetes and low blood sugar, seizures, shock, bleeding, penetrating objects, animal and human bites and poison emergencies.

Course Description:International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) is a global organization dedicated to preventing death and disability from trauma through education and emergency trauma care. ITLS is accepted internationally as the standard training course for prehospital trauma care, and is not only taught as continuing education course, but is also used as a textbook in many Doctor, Paramedic, EMT, and first responder training programs.
These comprehensive courses are designed for providers who are first on the scene to evaluate and stabilize the trauma patient. The courses provide complete training in the skills needed for rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilization and transportation of trauma patients. The ITLS Basic course provides the core of knowledge and skills appropriate for all levels of EMS personnel. The ITLS Advanced course builds on this knowledge, emphasizing evaluation steps and sequencing as well as techniques for resuscitating and packaging patients. ITLS Advanced is appropriate for paramedics, trauma nurses, doctors and other advanced EMS personnel. They also challenge the student with scenario assessment stations where learning is put to work in simulated trauma situations. ITLS courses are designed, managed and delivered by course directors, coordinators and instructors experienced in EMS, prehospital care and the ITLS approach.
